Hatfield South NPT - December Newsletter |

Good Morning, First of all can I apologise for missing a couple of these, with annual leave and a couple of courses I have not been in work to get them sent out. With Christmas just around the corner I don’t expect you to sit and read a long message from me so I will keep this one short. Over the past couple of months the South NPT have generated some excellent results, we have arrested a prolific shoplifter for multiple offences across Herts and Essex (including from a charity shop), he was charged remanded and also banned from driving for 24 months. We have arrested several others for offences ranging from possession with intent to supply drugs, assault and racially aggravated public order offences. We have also been out and about conducting Burglary patrols under Operation Guardian, this has lead to several stop searches and some arrests made by one of our specialist units (more on this will be publicised soon). With 2026 approaching, we are going to continue to target those committing crime and ASB within our area. My team are currently working on four warrants at different locations across the south, with a plan in place to start the new year off executing them throughout the month of January, please keep an eye on our social media for this! Finally, thank you for taking the time to engage and speak with us, without your communication we don't know what goes on in our area. Even something that might seem irrelevant to you could be the missing piece in the puzzle for us so please continue to report anything that does not look right in your area and we will always take the time to review and action when required. So that's all from me, I hope you all have a great Christmas and fantastic New Year, spare a thought for our colleagues across Policing who are working 24/7 Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years day and everything in between, alongside our partners in the Fire and Ambulance services, it’s part of the job we all do but never easy missing out on time with family and friends. Take care and I will continue messaging in 2026! Sgt Robert WILSON | ||
